Tackle Twill – Most Popular with Professional Sports Teams and School Athletic Departments

Tackle Twill has great visual appeal and visibility from a distance. Ideal for sports teams where players names and numbers need to be quickly read on jerseys. Tackle Twill is also more economical than Embroidery as the legibility is of greater importance than the quality detailing offered in embroidery.

That’s not to say that Tackle Twill patches lack quality, as the same attentive quality control is employed with the Image Mart Tackle Twill letters, numbers, names and logos, Tackle Twill just offers a simpler production process, cutting one material and stitching it to a twill substrate.

Tackle Twill is extremely durable and long-lasting, and the primary choice of sports teams where its strength is needed. Tackle Twill is either a Nylon or polyester fabric woven into twill pattern.

Nylon and polyester are both lightweight and durable synthetic fabrics that share many of the same properties, such as easy care, wrinkle resistance, stretch resistance and shrink resistance. Nylon is softer than polyester but also stronger, while polyester is faster drying, easier to dye and abrasion resistant.
