Flat embroidery is the most widely used embroidery in embroidery.

Flat embroidery is a straight line embroidery method, which pays attention to “even, flat, smooth and even”. The starting and falling feet of each needle should be even and flat, and the length should be the same. Flat embroidery should be embroidered so that the base cloth cannot be exposed, and it cannot exceed the contour line. The embroidery color is layered, bright and vivid, but it is difficult to express the effect of gradient.

Flat embroidery can be divided into skip stitch embroidery, walking needle embroidery, and tatami embroidery. Skip stitch embroidery is mainly used for simple fonts and patterns such as LOGO; Needle embroidery is used for patterns with small characters and fine lines; Tatami embroidery is mainly used for larger and finer patterns.

Needle embroidery is often used to express the feathers of birds and beasts, with needles instead of writing, with threads to blend colors, delicately showing a gorgeous plush feeling.

Needle embroidery, uneven stitches, thread feet interspersed with each other

The stitches of the needle embroidery are interspersed with each other, so the sense of hierarchy is very strong, and the effect of expression and rendering is very ideal. It’s not as neat as flat embroidery, but it needs to follow the law of smudging layer by layer.
