The difference between printing, embroidery and jacquard

Printing, embroidery and jacquard are common clothing accessories in life. Many clothing accessories such as lace and webbing and fabric products are decorated with words such as printing, embroidery and jacquard. What is the difference between printing, embroidery and jacquard? , let’s share it with you.

1. Printing

Printing means that after the cloth is woven, the pattern is printed again, which is divided into reactive printing and general printing. The price of 30S printed bedding is about 100-250 yuan, and the good ones are also more than 400 yuan (referring to the addition of other index factors, such as yarn count, twill, cotton content, etc.).

2. Offset printing paper

is a transfer material. It is different from other direct screen printing (printing), it is easy to use, just put the pattern of the offset printing paper on the surface of the fabric (cloth) or the object to be transferred, and then use a heat transfer machine (or an electric iron) After a few seconds of ironing, the pattern is transferred directly to the object.

Offset paper can replace traditional embroidery and printing at a lower cost than normal embroidery and multicolor overlay printing. For garment manufacturing factories, it is very convenient to use. Because it is only necessary to transfer the pre-designed heat transfer to the semi-finished product (cut piece) or finished product (clothing), it is fast and appropriate, and no printing factory processing is required.

Offset printing paper is widely used, suitable for clothing, dolls, T-shirts, caps, shoes, gloves, socks, bags and leather products, plastic products, wood products, etc.

3. Embroidery

Embroidery means that after the cloth is woven, the pattern is embroidered by machine (generally). Compared with printing, it will not fade when washed, and it has the characteristics of good breathability and moisture absorption.

At present, there are many kinds of embroidery plate-making software such as Tajima, Shannofeishuo, Wilcom, Behringer, Richpeace, Tianmu and so on.

4. Jacquard:

Jacquard refers to the pattern on the fabric that is woven with yarns of different colors during weaving. Compared with embroidered fabrics, the cost is higher, the quality and the air permeability are better.
